Sandra Peaty, Head of Learning and Community at Pallant House Gallery, said: 'At Pallant House Gallery we are committed to providing accessible creative opportunities for all members of the community, whatever their circumstances or needs. The Living with Dementia Festival in 2015 coincided with the introduction of our new dementia-friendly Art Views series and many of those who attended our events during the Festival have gone on to engage with our long term offer. As testament to the positive impact of the arts on those living with dementia, several people have started to pursue their own art interests with the support of the Gallery's pioneering Community Programme. We look forward to continuing to work with other local cultural organisations for this year's Festival.'

New to the programme this year are two Dementia Friends sessions where participants will learn more about the issues faced by those living with dementia, and discuss what we can all do to create dementia-friendly communities.

Louise Rigglesford, Community Partnerships Manager at Chichester Festival Theatre, said: 'The purpose of the Living Well With Dementia Festival is to increase opportunities for local people living with dementia, and we hope that the public Dementia Friends sessions will help to raise further awareness about the small changes that can be made to make Chichester a truly dementia-friendly city.'

The Living Well with Dementia Festival takes place at venues across Chichester from 11 April - 29 May. For more information visit cft.org.uk/livingwell.
